The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL 2022 Notification on 17 September 2022 for 20000 posts. SSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern
Earlier SSC CGL exam is conducted by the commission in three stages Tier 1, Tier 2, & Tier 3, the exam pattern for each stage is different. But a major change in the exam pattern and selection process for SSC CGL 2022 is introduced by the commission. This year The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers- Tier-I and Tier-II

SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier I 2022 is mandatory for all posts. Tier 1 is the first stage in the selection process and it is an objective computer-based examination. SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 consists of 100 questions, containing 25 questions each from 4 different subjects viz Quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general awareness SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern is given below. The total Duration of the Tier 1 exam is 1 hour (80 minutes for disabled/Physically handicapped Candidates).

The important point to note:
- There is a negative marking of 0.5 marks in all sections.
- The duration of the exam is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.
- Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination.
- Marks obtained in Tier are not included in the final merit list.
SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam is most important because marks obtained in the tier 2 exam decided the final selection of the candidate. There are 3 papers in the SSC CGL tier 2 exam.

- Paper-3 is only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Gr. II” & “Compiler”.

Admit card for SSC CGL 2022 is currently not available. Every candidate who registered for SSC CGL 2022 Examination has to download their admit card when available. SSC CGL Answer Key
The SSC CGL Tier-1 tentative answer key has been released on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. The candidates who appear for the exam can check the answer key. Candidates can also submit their objections if any. Their objections must be submitted online with proper representations. They will also have to pay INR 100 per question.
How to Check SSC CGL Answer Key?
To check the SSC CGL answer key candidates have to follow these steps.
- Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
- Select the ‘Answer Key’ tab located at the top of the homepage.
- A list of links will open, click on the relevant link for the answer key.
- In the login page that opens, enter your credentials- user ID and password.

SSC CGL Result 2022
SSC conducts the SSC Cgl exam in the different stages as tier-1, and tier- 2, separately. After the conduction of the exams SSC releases and key and after that result is declared.

Some important points regarding SSC CGL Syllabus are:
- The SSC CGL 2022 syllabus of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 are different from each other.
- There are two sections in paper 1
- In Tier 2 Questions are asked from only two sections – English and Quantitative Aptitude sections are common for all posts.
- Tier 1 exam is for 60 minutes containing 25 questions each from General Awareness, Reasoning, English, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each correct answer will fetch you +2 marks and each wrong answer will deduct 0.50 marks from your total scores.
- In SSC CGL Tier 2, four papers are conducted from which Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for all the aspirants who cleared Tier 1 exam. Paper 3 and Paper 4 are only for those candidates who filled up for the specific posts.
- For special post syllabus questions in tier two are asked in papers 3 and paper 4 from- English, Statistics, General Studies, and Quantitative Ability.

SSC CGL 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL 2022 are the four parameters given below. The candidate must fulfil this in order to be eligible for the SSC exam.
1. Educational Qualifications– The educational qualifications vary according to the post for SSC CGL 2022 and are given below:

2. Age Limit: The age limit for the different posts is different. Complete detail of the age limit for SSC CGL 2022 is given below. The Commission has refined the SSC CGL age limit 2022 for some posts. In general, the minimum age to apply is 18 years and the maximum age is 32 years. However, this range varies from post to post, and there are certain age relaxations available for different categories which can be checked from the table below.
