SSC Exams Eligibility
Some eligibility criteria are described by SSC in exams notification interested aspirants must fulfil these criteria to appear in any of the exams connected by SSC. Here are some general SSC eligibility criteria which will help you to apply for a particular exam as per your educational qualification, nationality, and age limit.
- Nationality: An aspirant must be an Indian citizen.
- Age Limit: An aspirant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 years, as applicable. The age limit, however, is likely to vary as per the exam that you are willing to apply for.

SSC CGL Exam
The full form of the SSC CGL exam is the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam. It is one of the most popular SSC exams for graduates. There are four Tiers in the SSC CGL exam that need to be cleared by the candidates to get recruited into Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in various Government departments.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 are Computer-Based Tests (CBT) to assess the knowledge of candidates in various domains like Mathematics, Economics, Reasoning, Current Affairs, etc. Tier 3 of SSC CGL is a descriptive paper consisting of essay and letter/application writing to examine the writing proficiency of candidates in English/Hindi. Exam Pattern of SSC CGL
The SSC CGL exam will be held in four stages or tiers .i.e Tier – 1, Tier -2, Tier – 3, and Tier – 4.
- Tier – 1 will take place in multiple slots via computer mode, with objective-type questions.
- Tier – 2 will comprise two papers – Quantitative Aptitude and English of about 200 marks
- Tier – 3 is a descriptive type exam that is designed to test the written skills of candidates in the Hindi/English language.

SSC CHSL Exam
SSC CHSL exam stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level exam, which is a national level exam conducted to recruit students who have cleared higher secondary (12th passed) into different government departments, offices, and ministries for posts like Data Entry Operator, Sorting Assistants, Junior Secretariat Assistant, LDC, etc.
This year, the SSC CHSL exam notification was released on 1 February 2022. As per the latest update, the SSC CHSL exam Tier 1 took place from 24 May to 10 June 2022. The last SSC exam date to apply for the CHSL exam 2022 was 07 March 2022.
SSC MTS Exam
SSC MTS exam is conducted by the Commission every year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Multitasking Staff (MTS) in various central government departments, offices, and ministries. SSC MTS exam notification has been out on 22 March 2022 which provides candidates with all the information related to the upcoming SSC exam for MTS Tier 1 which is scheduled to take place from 05 July to 22 July 2022.
SSC CPO Exam
Those who want to join the Police force can check the SSC CPO exam notification which will be released on 14 August 2022. The full form of SSC CPO is Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization. The SSC CPO exam 2022 is tentatively scheduled for December 2022.
There will be two online tests to test the basic knowledge of candidates followed by a Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates can be placed in the following departments if they clear the SSC CPO exam: Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CAPFs, etc.
SSC Stenographer Exam
SSC Stenographer is a competitive entrance exam conducted on a national level by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates for Grade C and Grade D jobs. SSC invites candidates for the recruitment in a general Central Service Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Non-Gazetted post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments in different States and Union Territories.
SSC Stenographer exam 2022 is tentatively scheduled to be held in April 2023, for which the notification is expected to be out in December 2022.
SSC Exam Selection Post Phase 10
There are a total of 2065 vacancies released in the SSC Selection Post Phase 10 exam along with the official notification on 12 May 2022. It is an SSC exam conducted to give a chance to lakhs of aspirants to apply for various posts in government departments across India.
There are three categories of posts and candidates, divided on the basis of educational qualification, which are for graduates, higher secondary, and for those who have completed matriculation. The Tier 1 of the SSC exam for Selection Post Phase 10 is expected to be conducted in August 2022.
SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Exam
The board also conducts the SSC exam for Delhi Police Head Constable for which the notification has been released on 17 May 2022. CET SSC and Railway exams for Tier 1 stage will now be conducted by the NRA (National Recruitment Agency). This CET score will be valid for the next 3 years, however, the other stages of selection such as Tier 2, Tier 3, etc will be conducted by the exam categories only.
